Transfer news: No bids have come in for Hugo Lloris
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that there have been no offers for star stopper Hugo Lloris and also set a deadline for any prospective buyer to make their offer.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been interested in the France captain but it appears that no bids have been made.
“We have not received any official offers for Lloris,” Aulas was quoted as saying by France Football.
“I will see Hugo again on Thursday when I arrive in New York. We will make a final decision [on his future] after the Trophee des champions [against Montpellier on July 28].”
Manager Arsene Wenger maintains Arsenal now have a third-place finish in their sights after relegating FA Cup winners Wigan with a 4-1 win at the Emirates Stadium - but his side could yet end up in a play-off with Chelsea for automatic Champions League qualification.
