Defender Laurent Koscielny is expected to be sidelined for up to a month after coming off less than five minutes into the midweek 1-1 draw at Everton with a thigh strain.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the French centre back will be missing for tomorrow’s visit of Swansea and admitted that another defender is also oa doubt for the Premier League clash.
“It is a muscular problem, a thigh problem, that is normally three weeks,” Wenger said of his fellow countryman.
Right-back Bacary Sagna is another concern for tomorrow’s game at the Emirates Stadium.
“From Wednesday night there are lots of bumps and bruises as you might expect, but one serious doubt is Bacary Sagna with his foot,” Wenger said.
“He got a knock at the start of the game when he cleared a ball. It is inflamed and he is a big doubt, but everyone else should recover.”
Contract rebel Theo Walcott netted inside a minute on Merseyside, but the Gunners boss revealed the England forward, who has just returned from a shoulder injury, was carrying an ankle problem during the second half.
German forward Lukas Podolski, meanwhile, missed the trip to Goodison Park because of a chest infection.
