Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna is a big doubt for the visit of Swansea on Saturday due to a foot injury, manager Arsene Wenger has revealed.
Sagna completed the full 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Everton on Wednesday night but Wenger has revealed he picked up an injury which could see him miss out this weekend.
Fellow defender Laurent Koscielny injured his thigh against Everton and will miss the next three weeks, but those two aside, Wenger says they have no new injury concerns.
He told the club’s official website: “From Wednesday night there are lots of bumps and bruises as you might expect, but one serious doubt is Bacary Sagna with his foot.
“He got a knock at the start of the game when he cleared a ball. It is inflamed and he is a big doubt, but everyone else should recover.”
