The France international has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and the Gunners, Tottenham and now QPR are said to be interested.

But it appears that the midfielder is unlikely to want to join the relegation strugglers.

“There is interest from a lot of clubs. Yann has a good contract at Rennes – it is possible that we can stay there and be patient,” Hager told Goal.com.

“Every transfer window we are asked about Arsenal because of what the newspapers say, but I have not spoken to them about Yann.”
