Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that defender Laurent Koscielny will be sidelined for three weeks after he hobbled off in last night’s 1-1 draw against Everton with a groin injury.
The France international lasted just four minutes at Goodison Park before he was substituted for Kieran Gibbs.
When asked about Koscielny’s injury after the game, Wenger said: “He has a groin strain. That’s usually three weeks.”
As well as missing Arsenal’s final Champions League group game against Olympiakos, Koscielny will be unavailable for three Premier League matches and their League Cup quarter-final against Bradford.
German forward Lukas Podolski has been linked with a switch to Juventus after being the most substituted of Arsenal’s attackers this season.
