Van Persie and Oxlade-Chamberlain start for Arsenal against Blackburn

Arsene Wenger has elected to start Robin van Persie in this afternoons Premier League clash against Blackburn at the Emirates.

The Gunners boss had said he was considering resting his skipper, but has decided to start the 25 goal frontman.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit enough to start the game, while Aaron Ramsey and Bakary Sagna are only fit enough to make the bench.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Coquelin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Song, Arteta, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Van Persie.

Substitutes: Fabianski, Sagna, Ramsey, Benayoun, Arshavin, Henry, Park.
