Kevin Prince Boateng could line up for AC Milan against the Gunners
Former Tottenham man Kevin Prince Boateng is in line to play for AC Milan against Arsenal at the San Siro on Wednesday.
The midfielder has made 37 Serie A appearances for AC Milan since joining from Portsmouth in 2010.
The 24-year-old has retired from playing international football for Ghana in 2011 citing health issues.
“According to Kevin, the physical demands of playing for both club and country at high levels are taking a toll on his health,” a Ghana FA statement read.
“The player also explained that in order to remain healthy and stay off any injuries, he has consulted his doctors and family over the matter and has decided to take the decision to excuse himself from national duties since he is on a special training that he as to interrupt to honour national invitations.”
Boateng has made 12 Serie A appearances this season, with the highlight an incredible 16 minute hat trick against Lecce in October.
