Labour to blame

nlnews@archant.co.uk
02 December 2009
HOW ridiculous that your paper was full of Labour politicians campaigning to save the Accident and Emergency department at The Whittington Hospital (Gazette, November 26) - The Whittington being our local NHS hospital which provides vital emergency services for local people. Who has been running the NHS and the Department of Health for the last 12 years? Labour! Who are responsible for the NHS finances that mean the A&E might have to close? Labour! So does Jeremy Corbyn, MP for Islington North, and the Labour Party expect us to forget they run the NHS? Or perhaps it is Labour's tactic for the next election to bring things to the edge of destruction and then campaign to save them? - Julie Whittaker, Petherton Road, N5.
