Ditching bendy bus defies logic

GETTING rid of Bendy Buses defies common sense and Londoners will have to pay more in fares to fund the changes. An increase in bus jams seems inevitable when you have to run buses every two minutes at peak times, which is a 40 per cent increase on the bendy bus schedule. I hope that the Mayor of London will monitor customer satisfaction on route 38 and, if it gets worse, then he should admit that the Transport for London budget can't afford to fund ill-informed promises. - Darren Johnson, London Assembly Green Party member.
