THERE was a scheme brought in within the housing entitlements years ago titled the Sons and Daughters Scheme. Is this scheme still valid or has it been banished for some reason?

I have a daughter, aged 22, born on this estate. Under the latest bidding scheme brought in, she hasn't enough points to even take part in it. How many more families are in the same circumstances? Hundreds, thousands probably.

1. How do they qualify? 2. Why was it called Sons and Daughters Scheme?

Maybe someone will answer these questions. - Patrick Power, Barnsbury Estate, N1.
