Morrissey to reign at the Palace

ONE of England's most highly-regarded stars has announced he will play a one-off date at Alexandra Palace.
Morrissey will play the Palace on the May 1 Bank Holiday after three dates at the London Palladium theatre sold out in minutes.
Tickets to see the ex-Smiths frontman, whose hits include This Charming Man and the First Of The Gang To Die, are on sale now and are expected to sell out.
His next album, Ringleader Of The Tormentors, was recorded in Rome last summer and is scheduled for release on April 3.
But Morrissey is not the only star to announce a gig at the Palace. Indie-rockers Placebo will play at the 8,250-capacity venue on April 11, a month after they release their fifth studio album, Meds.
It will be their first London show in more than a year, and is expected to be the highlight of their five-date tour. Tickets for are on sale now.
