A 24-hour sauna shut down by police six months ago has lodged an application for a “special treatments” licence.

Pleasure Garden in Caledonian Road, Islington, wants permission to offer sauna, steam and massage treatments.

It was closed following a police raid in February, when it was found to be operating without a licence.
