Ricki Williams, 21, threatened to shoot the 15-year-old on November 24 last year after getting into a row with her in Lever Street, Finsbury, as she walked to the shops.

He was convicted of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear at Blackfriars Crown Court on June 28 and sentenced to two years and four months.

Det Con Jose Lagares, of Islington Police, said: “Williams took it upon himself to threaten a 15-year-old girl with what she perceived was some sort of gun. This incident has traumatised her and I sincerely hope that Williams’ sentence will serve as a stark reminder of the consequences of becoming involved in firearms, but also help this young victim to move on with her life.”

Williams, of Telfer House, in Lever Street, Finsbury, was also convicted of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, after detectives found a large quantity of cannabis and cash at his home when they arrested him on October 3.
