The event, organised by herb manufacturers Gourmet Garden, pitched the cooks against each other at the competition in St Luke’s Centre, Old Street.

The eventual winner Filipa Kay, who writes the blog Gourmet Mum, will now travel to Australia to face international competitors for the right to be crowned Gourmet Garden’s best blogger-cum-chef.
