Canonbury crash: Hit and run driver leaves cyclist with serious injuries

A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run crash in Canonbury this weekend.

The man was hit by a car in Almorah Road near the Junction with Yeate Street just before 3.45pm on Saturday. The driver did not stop at the scene.

The cyclist was taken to hospital by medics. Scotland Yard said yesterday his condition was not life-threatening.

Police are now trying to track down the driver.
