A man in his 50s was stabbed in Seven Sisters Road this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 3pm, and the victim was taken to an east London hospital.

Scotland Yard is awaiting an update on his condition.

Seven Sisters Road is closed between Amhurst Park and Heysham Road.

Police have warned traffic is heavy, and buses are on diversion because of the large crime scene in place.

No arrests have been made.
