An Islington police officer who filmed an underage girl performing a sex act on him before sending a photo to three of his friends has been suspended.

Stephen McMillan, 26, from Aylesbury, met his victim through the dating app Tinder, High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court was told this week.

McMillan admitted possession and distribution of indecent images, intentionally causing or inciting a child to be involved in pornography and possessing an extreme pornographic image.

He appeared in court on Tuesday and is due to be sentenced on July 4.

The offences were committed between August 19 and September 14, 2014.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said today: “The officer is currently suspended. Once criminal proceedings have concluded a misconduct review will take place.”

  • It should be instant dismissal, not suspension - no doubt still drawing wages! There is something very wrong with the Islington Police, particularly from the tolpuddle station.
