Police in Islington are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man convicted of burglary during last summer’s riots.

Phillip Mallia, 19, is wanted on a recall to prison after breaching his licence conditions by not staying at his bail hostel in Highbury Grove, Highbury.

He was sentenced in December to 14 months imprisonment for breaking into Pizza Express, Lavender Hill, on August 8 last year.

He was released in June with conditions which included him living at the hostel, but he has not been seen since August 11.

Police said he also has family in Tower Hamlets and Barking and Dagenham who he may visit.

Anyone who can help police is asked to call them on 101, 020 7421 0369 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
