A man in his 20s is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in an Islington street.

Police were called to Wynford Road, just off Caledonian Road, at 5pm yesterday and the 26-year-old was taken to hospital by medics.

Scotland Yard said his condition was “serious”.

No arrests have been made. The road has been closed today while officers carry out their investigation.
