A man has been charged with murder over the mysterious death of a woman in a Finsbury Park flat.

Ramy Maynard, 27, is accused of killing Chrissie Azzopardi, 22, whose body was found decomposing by police in a flat in Wray Crescent on June 4 last year.

A post mortem did not establish a formal cause of death but it was later confirmed as stab wounds to the chest.

Mr Maynard, of Wray Crescent, appears at West London Magistrates Court tomorrow.
