Weapons seized and man arrested over ‘threats to kill’ in Cally estate off North Road

A man was arrested in a Cally estate yesterday on suspicion of making threats to kill.

Police were called to a property in Surr Street, in the Hyde Village Estate off North Road, and arrested the 38-year-old.

Officers also seized a number of weapons at the address, and a crime scene was still in place this morning.

The suspect remains in custody.
