A 30-year-old man has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving following an accident in Tottenham seven months ago that left two Islington men dead.
Karl Aaron Maddix, of no fixed address, is due in court next month over the crash, which happened at the junction of Seven Sisters Road and St Ann’s Road just before 2am on Good Friday, March 29.
The two men, Gregory Jones, 38, and Shaka Henry, 33, both from Islington, were passengers in a black Audi that hit a van and then crashed into the railway bridge over the junction.
They died of multiple chest injuries.
Maddix was charged this month with two counts each of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured and causing death whilst driving without a licence.
He is due before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on November 4.
