Prior to the game around 30 of the Italian club’s hard core supporters – known as Ultras – tore though The Piebury Corner restaurant, Holloway Road, brandishing bars and swinging belts as they attacked customers.

The thugs marched through the streets of Islington on October 1 with scarves covering their faces and chanting, before running amok through the cafe, which was packed with families and children.

During the incident a 48-year-old man, who was sat outside the restaurant, suffered cuts to his head when he was struck with a metal chair and had to be taken to hospital.

Concerns were raised at the time by Piebury Corner owner Paul Campbell over the lack of police presence on the streets.

Images have now been released of two men police believe could help them with their enquiries.

A 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Islington CID on 020 7421 0298.
