A man was stabbed at the FCKF takeaway just before 8pm on Tuesday and he is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

Although a man has been charged in connection with the incident, detectives are urging any witnesses, those with information or anyone who was in or nearby the kebab shop to come forward and help with enquiries.

Det Con Taylor from Hackney’s Violent Crime Unit said: “Although a male has been charged with attempted murder, this is still an ongoing investigation and I continue to seek any witnesses who were in the vicinity and urge them to provide assistance.”

Please contact Det Con Taylor in the Violent Crime Unit on 020 7275 5140. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
