Officers are appealing for help in tracking down Stephen Fitzpatrick, 25, of King’s Cross Road, King’s Cross, who disappeared after the assault on a 35-year-old man on June 26, 2011.

The victim was walking along King’s Cross Road at about 5.30am when two men emerged suddenly from a flat, grabbed hold of him and dragged him into the communal hallway.

He sustained a fractured cheekbone after being punched in the head and face, and his phone was stolen.

Mr Fitzpatrick was one of two men who were subsequently arrested over the attack.

One has since been convicted of robbery and grievous bodily harm and jailed for three years, but Mr Fitzpatrick failed to return to police after being bailed and officers have since been unable to track him down.

He is believed to have associations with west London, central London, south London and the Midlands.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
