Archant

As it’s the official 60th birthday of the iconic Routemaster bus today, we revisit pictures from the festival earlier this summer that saw thousands of avid and casual fans descend on Finsbury Park to see more than 150 vintage examples in the largest-ever gathering of its kind.

Buses from as far afield as Germany, France and Scotland made the journey to the park, while many had been specially prepared or repainted for the event.

Just click on the gallery to see a range of photos that give a flavour of the record-breaking event.
