The 26 A-level students at Highbury Fields School went to the top of the class today after achieving a 100 per cent pass rate.
One student at the Highbury Hill school, Berncan Korkmaz, 19, got A in Turkish, B in sociology, B in psychology and a C in law and is now off the study Sociology at Sussex University.
She said: “I was one mark off an A in sociology, so I am really gutted about that, but I am happy over all.
“I want to do a law conversion later, but I am passionate about sociology and really enjoy it so I thought I would study that first.
“Tonight I am going to celebrate with my mum and dad - they are really proud and are taking me out to dinner.”
