Man in search for photographer after saving memory card from destroyed camera in Islington Green

PUBLISHED: 16:09 19 February 2018 | UPDATED: 16:13 19 February 2018

A man who rescued a memory card from a destroyed camera outside Waterstones in Islington Green is hoping to reunite the photos with their owner.

Kevin Denver was walking along Upper Street on Valentine’s Day when he spotted the Cannon EOS 6D camera on the ground.

He said: “The camera was badly damaged, scratched and soaking wet from all the rain that day. I left the camera where it was but I managed to recover 87 pictures from the SD card.

“I was hoping to find the owner and hand over the images he or she took.”

This picture of a dog is one of the images found on the card – another was taken in Farleigh Road, Stoke Newington, at 5pm on February 9.

Are you the owner of the camera? Contact the Gazette on 020 7433 0104 or email telling us about the other pictures on the SD card.
