A new housing scheme for people with autism set to open in April will create 30 jobs.
The facility, supported by Mencap, in Barnsbury Park, Barnsbury, will provide accommodation and support for 10 adults with autism and learning difficulties.
The three-storey building is designed to help inhabitants live as independently as possible and provide activities like swimming, bowling, arts and crafts to club nights and discos.
Mencap are looking for with or without experience to work at the facility – all vacancies are guaranteed to pay at least London Living Wage.
Iqbal Sohawon, from Mencap, said: “We’re looking for people that are motivated and enthusiastic about supporting people with a learning disability.”
