Woman dies after fatal Highbury flat fall

A woman has died after she fell from the third floor balcony this morning.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene outside Bushfield House, on the Highbury Estate, off Highbury New Park, just after midnight.

Medical teams treated a 39-year-old female who was in cardiac arrest and despite their best efforts she was pronounced dead just before 1am.

A 38-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident and investigations are ongoing.
