Cricket: Rain wreaks havoc in Middlesex County League

No matches played to a conlusion across all three divisions on Saturday
The latest round of Middlesex County League matches were hit hard by the weather, with no game played to a conclusion across all three divisions.
In the Premier Division, Brondesbury were 78-4 at Ealing when the rain intervened, while North Middlesex had visitors Teddington 141-5 before the weather forced an early end.
Shepherds Bush were 85-5 at home Southgate before rain stopped play, while not a single ball was bowled on Hampstead’s trip to Stanmore.
In Division One, Harrow St Mary’s were 41-1 at home to Eastcote before going off early, while Hornsey had visitors Twickenham 12-1.
North London reached 19-0 at home to Barnes, but no play was possible in Highgate’s clash at home to Osterley.
In Division Three, Harrow Town’s clash at home to Wembley and South Hampstead’s home game with Uxbridge were both called off without a ball being bowled.
All teams across all three divisions will be hoping for much better weather this weekend.
