Wood Green’s Focus Football hosted a special tournament for youngsters at Fortismere School last Friday.

The grassroots club is run by Sean Daly, who has featured in the New York Times and on BBC Radio 5 Live.

And the event, which saw top London Sunday teams take on others representing Arsenal, PSG and Sparta Prague, raised £220 for Action for Kids,

England international and Under-17 World Cup winner Nya Kirby (right) was a special guest at the tournament, at his former school Fortismere, and presented trophies in an attempt to encourage young players to stay motivated in pursuit of their dreams.
