Veras Academy members were among the medals at the Irish International Open in Dublin.

A squad of nine travelled to ireland, after a mid-season break, and produced a great effort against athletes from Canada, England, Germany, Ireland and Scotland.

Jack Gentilli Walsh won silver in the eight to nine years kata, while Ismail Cinar claimed a bronze in 10-11 years category.

Donna Blake won bronze in the veteran female section, while Neveah Thomas secured a well deserved bronze in 10-11 years kumite.

Jaydon Sullivan ended with a silver after an impressive performance in the senior male under-75kg kumite as he dominated all rounds to make the final.

Thomas, Sullivan and Cinar are all from Tower Hamlets, while Blake acts as club instructor to junior students all over London.

Gentilli Walsh attends Sacred Heart Catholic School and trains at Ringcross Community Centre, Islington.
