England’s hopes of winning the Hockey World Cup on home soil are over following a quarter-final defeat to defending champions the Netherlands.

England’s Laura Unsworth is looking forward to facing the Netherlands in their Vitality World Cup quarter-final at the Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre tonight (Thursday, 8.15pm).

England will take on world number one the Netherlands in the last eight of the Vitality Women’s World Cup on Thursday, after beating South Korea in their crossover match at Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre.
