MORE than six months after its first release, the unstoppable juggernaut that is AVATAR (PG) shows no signs of slowing.

Director James Cameron's 3D blockbuster returns to the IMAX for a new run - with eight minutes of extra footage. Just ignore the recycled sci-fi plot and just enjoy the special effects as wheelchair-bound soldier Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) travels to the jungle planet of Pandora and gets involved in the blue alien Na'vi's battle to repel the human invaders. The film wasn't short to begin with, but Avatar acolytes are sure to drool over even more computer generated alien creatures and battles. Now is your chance to get down to the BFI IMAX, South Bank, SE1, and see what all the fuss was about.
