A shotgun attack at a Highbury Corner night spot left four people injured.
Staff at The Thatch in Holloway Road had locked up for the night when five shots were fired at the glass doors.
Security man Don Daley, 40, was “peppered with pellets” and rushed to intensive care.
Club manager Bill Murphy, 45, was hit in the face – but was released from hospital and returned to work the next day to re-open the club for business.
“I’m doing fine,” he said.
Two others – Mark Moore and Tony Grey – also sustained slight injuries. The motive of the attack was unknown, though a “drunk” man had been ejected earlier that night.
