Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) are hoping to speak to the two men pictured about the incident on Monday May 19.

A ‘claw’ mechanism was inserted into the card slot of an ATM on the station concourse at about 6.45pm.

The device then trapped a bank card belonging to a woman who attempted to use the cashpoint a few minutes later.

The men then stole the card and used it to make purchases and withdraw money.

A BTP spokesman said: “Once the victim had gone the men removed her card, which they later used to buy expensive items and withdraw large amounts of cash.”

Anyone who recognises either of the men in these pictures is asked to contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or by text on 61016, quoting reference TSUB/B8 of 20/06/2014. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
