Kids will have a chance to meet former children’s laureate Michael Rosen on Friday (June 24) when he visits an Islington theatre that is showing one of his stories.
The popular author has written the The Magician’s Daughter, which is the current production at the Little Angel Theatre, in Dagmar Passage, Islington, and is a children’s tale based on Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
After the 5pm show, Mr Rosen, whose previous books include Going on a Bear Hunt, will be answering questions from the audience and singing copies of his book.
The Little Angel Theatre, which seats 100 people and was established 50 years ago, is one of only three puppet theatres in England
Entrance to the event is free with a ticket for the performance, for more information call 020 7226 1787.
