Half of the top 10 best value restaurants in London are in Islington, a new list claims
The Sunday Times Food List Cheap Eats guide highlights 130 restaurants across the UK where people can enjoy great food for less than £50 per head.
Top of the pile is Afghan Kitchen, in Islington Green, followed by French restaurant Assiette Anglaise, in Liverpool Road, Holloway.
In seventh is Roots at N1, in Hemingford Road and the last two posts are made up by The Pig and Butcher, in Liverpool Road, and The Fish and Chip Shop, Upper Street.
