High-flying kids got to grips with the zipwire at a newly refurbished woodland playground.

Cape, in the Parkland Walk Nature Reserve, held an open day on July 20 to show off it’s new facilites, including treetop walkways, a tree house, a bridges, den building and a roof garden.

The Ewok-village style play area is part of Islington Council’s £16.5million transforation of the area, centred around the brand new Ashmount School.

Catherine West, leader of Islington Council, said: “Cape is in such a fantastic location and surrounded by the trees, you can easily forget that it’s part of a busy London borough.”
