A teenager was reunited with his beloved bike at an open day at Islington Police station on Saturday.
The 15-year-old spotted the bike at the Bicycle Safety and Crime Prevention Awareness day run by Islington Safer Transport Team and it was handed back to him after he provided proof it was his.
The bike was stolen in January but had not been reported to police.
Families were invited to attend the event, and participate in a variety of fun-filled activities for both adults and children alike.
Representatives from all the borough’s emergency services were on hand throughout the day to help people improve their personal safety.
