A brutal double killer was at large in Holloway.
Two grandfathers – Thomas Walker, 61, and Raymond Che Keng Fung, 68 – were horrifically murdered within a month of each other.
A male suspect was spotted chatting to Mr Walker at his Caledonian Road maisonette. Six hours later, Mr Walker’s blood-splattered body was found tied to a chair by his grandson. He had been beaten to death and his wallet was missing.
It came four weeks after Mr Fung was beaten to death in his hallway in Sussex Way. He had also been tied up, and had also been robbed.
Supt Peter Wilton said of the 5’6” suspect in his 20s: “If he’s done nothing wrong, there’s nothing to worry about.”
