For our Radhika (Rads) Radhika Bhagat - 27th April 1977 - 1st November 2018 From Delhi, Rads made Hackney her home having lived in many parts of the world. She sprinkled love and laughter wherever she went. And in her physical passing, caused an explosion of love which now sits and grows with those many of us who loved her. That explosion of love also sits alongside the gap that exists in our lives. We will embrace that gap the way you embraced life, with love, laughter and resoluteness (and yours, Rads, sometimes appeared other worldly). Radhika loved Hackney, for its vibrancy, diversity and community spirit - both in celebration and when helping those in need. In this vein she contributed in her own way by volunteering and becoming a trustee of Made in Hackney, a community kitchen, working to empower local people with the ability to cook and therefore eat well. Rads, we love and miss you. Anne Tiedemann and Sheko Brigadier Arun, Punam and Gayatri Sahgal Jennifer Melville Tayab, Layth and Amar Qureshi and all those who love you.
