Young people in Islington interested in representing thousands of other teenagers have until tomorrow to throw their name into the ring for election as a youth councillor.
Every two years, 12 youth councillors are elected to represent the young people of the borough.
A council spokesman said: “It is a great opportunity to have your say on issues and decisions that affect your peers, help decide how money is spent on services, and help improve the range and quality of activities for young people.
“If you are aged between 13 and 17, live in Islington or go to one of its schools, or are looked after by the council, the doors are open for you to get involved.”
The deadline for applications is tomorrow. For more information, visit izzy-info.com/youthcouncil
