North Middlesex’s Under-15s, who are already Middlesex champions in their age group, progressed in the national stages of the competition with a hard-fought win over the winners from Buckinghamshire, Chesham.
Ross Richardson (50 retired), Henry Howeld (44) and Joe Cracknell (34) starred with the bat as North Midd reached 163-4 in their 20 overs.
Chesham got off to a blistering start, reaching 56 without loss after just five overs, but Luke Hollman (2-18) and Henry Howeld (3-24) turned the tide and Chesham eventually succumbed to the scoreboard pressure and were all out for 139 in the last over.
