More than £7,000 was raised for charity as a busy shopping street turned a fetching shade of pink.
Shopkeepers, stall holders and even Arsenal Football club became blush for a day along Highbury Park and Highbury Grove on October 11, in aid of three breast cancer charities.
Powderpuff girls were on hand to perform make overs, face painting was available for kids, while a hog roast, two tombolas and variety of snacks and treats from the stalls keep people entertained.
Many local business donated prizes for a lottery, including dinner for two at the Highbury Barn pub, a case of wine from Highbury Vinters and even a Mango bicycle from estate agent Hotblack Desiato.
Katie Giorgio, whose mum Michelle Lovell organised the event, said; “There were so many great prizes to win and all for our good cause.”
