A much-loved urban animal centre is in the running for a £50,000 cash bonanza.
Freightliners City Farm, in Sheringham Road, Holloway, needs votes to win the Great British Switch – a campaign which will award the cash to one charity in the country.
Nominations, which will close on Tuesday, can be submitted here or by tweeting Freightliner’s name and why they should win the award using #greatbritishswitch.
After nominations close, a panel of judges will select six charities to be put forward for a public vote during the Great British Switch weekend later in the year.
Liz McAllister, manager of the farm, said: “We hope you agree that Freightliners Farm would be a very worthy nominee, and hope that you will support us.”
