Volunteers have helped transform a neglected community garden alongside Regent’s Canal.

As part of Give and Gain Day, staff from business advisory firm CEB took a day out of work and got stuck into some digging and planting at Thornhill Bridge Community Gardens.

The two gardens located at the site used to be badly run down and have been known as a haunt for anti-social behaviour.

For a brief period, the gardens became a welcoming and attractive space for residents to be proud of but due to lack of resources, they have become neglected and volunteers are needed to help renovate the community food growing area and the children’s playground.
