Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean actor David Sterne and Canonbury film maker Terry Comer were on location in Yorkshire for the filming of Don’t Forget Your Hat.
Mr Comer, 65, who lives in Canonbury Park, wrote the film while putting himself through university in his late 50s.
The film is based on the classic Yorkshire folk song On Ilkley Moor Baht’at.
He said: “The filming was great and David Sterne was fantastic. We are cutting in the next week. It’s nice to see the story come to life.”
