Siamese dancers, music and food were all in full flow as a Newington Green pub celebrated the Thai new year on Friday.
The haunting sound of the Thai xylophone, played by Jutamas Poprasit, floated across The Clarendon, in Mildmay Park, as punters enjoyed a 6 all-you-can eat Thai buffet.
At the same time, dancers Vichayaporn Varasit and Kunupon Kaewmanee beguiled the crowd with traditional moves from the southeast Asian country.
Ben King, manager of the pub, said: “About 60 people came through to see the dancers do their stuff. The music was very interesting and the buffet went down really well.”
